Whitewater & Scenic Float trips
You can experience Montana’s best whitewater on a raft trip through
the Alberton Gorge. There are many scenic & historical float trips
on the Clark Fork, Blackfoot & Bitterroot Rivers. Pickup for your
raft trip can be here at the campground with some companies!

Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snowmobiling
Within minutes of Missoula, Snow Bowl Ski Area is famous for its
vertical drop. There are hundreds of trails around the area for
snowmobiling, plus several snowmobile rental shops. Lolo Hot Springs
has an extensive trail system for snowmobiling.

World-Class Fishing
Within an hours drive you can fish 5 major rivers. (Rock Creek, Flathead, Bitterroot, Blackfoot, &
ClarkFork). If you want to stay in Missoula you can fish for rainbow or brown trout right here on the Clark Fork river! You
have the option to go with a guided outfitter or an adventure out on your own. Non-residents are required to buy a 2 day fishing license
for $25.

Hiking and Biking
Missoula is surrounded by several recreational
areas. Throughout the city there is an extensive,
beautiful, and well-maintained network of riverfront
trails for walkers, joggers, bicyclists, etc. There
are also other trails located in different areas
throughout the city. Don’t forget to climb the “M”
at the University of Montana to get a bird’s eye
view of Missoula! |
